in the end the SRT4 is still a neon but its one hell of a fun neon to drive. Ive had mine for over 2 years now and havent lost to much on the street. Racing AWD cars is a bit of ***** but all the fun is coming from behind just when they think they got you. I didnt buy my SRT4 to impress anyone. Most people look at it the way that everyone in this thread has. I bought it because I like it.

I still don't get it. Whats the point in buying an SRT4 if you want to make it faster, you have to change most of the parts that make it faster than a base model neon in the first place. The only time it would ever make sense to buy one was if you're gonna leave it stock and not really care about tuning it. But if you were that type of person then you wouldn't be on a forum posting videos...

i kno a guy around here ran a high 11 with his srt all he did was change his wastegate and and nice pair of slicks. stock turbo.

Srt-4 is an awesome platform. Some other highly modifed cars, done correctly such as a K22 or h22a will beat an stock or even slightly upgraded, but there are some i say some srt-4's out there that are unbelieveable as far as i know the fastest 4 cylinder car out right now is an srt-4 yes highly modifeid not street legal but fast. the numbers don't give it justice but the car is a monster, the guy that posted this to begin with is a nitwit. The Neon, was started off as an economical car, with power to be fun to drive it was never meant to be a street killer. Yes, with mods, and the beloved fast and the furious the car took off as you could have bought a brand new one for around 8g's nothing major great on gas fun to drive. I have a 95 highline. I love the car, and have always love the neon, is it great no. is it mine and do i love it yes


so as far as sitting around and bashing the Brand, fine to each his own but the numbers you can find on the "properly done" srt's are nothing to shake a stick at

yea ull have to change it to make it faster but **** 450whp in a stock srt-4 wat u gotta change? a turbo:S and neons rnt as big of a piece of shit as u ricers think the only thing a honda has thats better is ur damn v0tech and a stronger built motor buit i know personally a guy who street races a neon and has put 500,000 on the original motor with a turbo and has only changed a head gasket and done oil changes so rly a neon isnt a hage pos and i doubt any of u ricers have even owned a neon

Why would I drive a Neon when I can drive a dub? Not that SRT4's are bad, but they are still a Neon, and where are the old Neon's now? In the junkyard.
